Prefer NP with previous experience, however he/she does not have to have prior Bariatric Center or Weight Loss Center experience. And client is willing to train for 1 day prior if needed. If no experience, coming from a Family Practice background would be great. Will be working independently, with help from a medical assistant. Performing routine exams for weight loss patients following The Board of Bariatrics guidelines for health and weight loss. Prescribing medications to help curve weight loss, and helping patients learn and adhere to low- carb diets. Average 40 prescriptions per day once new center is ramped up. Friday (10 - 7) and Saturday (10 - 2). No call.
